Assistant Research Professor Northern Arizona University Climate of the past is a fascinating topic. The modern instrumental record spans less than two centuries, so climate models and proxy records (such as tree rings, corals, and ice cores) are insightful tools for exploring the more distant past. My research uses a combination of model simulations and proxy records to investigate fascinating past time periods.
